Reported by Bloomberg in July 2022, confirmed by Rockstar with Trailer 2 in May 2025. Lucia is the first female lead in a mainline Grand Theft Auto. Rockstar's own copy frames them as a pair forced to rely on each other after an easy score goes wrong. How the game switches between them has never been described.
