The HUD in the leaked clips has room for six wanted stars, one more than every GTA since San Andreas.

Grand Theft Auto V topped out at five stars. In the CyberLeek footage the wanted meter in the top-right of the screen has six slots. A sixth star existed in GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas before the series settled on five, so a sixth slot would be a return rather than an invention. Rockstar has not described the wanted system publicly, and the clip comes from an older build, so the sixth slot may not survive to launch.
