Rockstar's own description of the game opens with "Vice City, USA" and calls it the sunniest place in America with the darkest side. It is the location shown most across both trailers and holds nine of the seventy screenshots in the official media kit — more than any other place.

In the leaks

The Stockyard neighbourhood was the subject of the December 2023 TikTok leak, filmed as a full 360-degree pan off a monitor. Jack of Hearts and What's Cooking, both visible in that footage, showed up in Trailer 1 two days later and are the reason the community accepted the clip as genuine.
